Dayn C. Boitet, DDS, is a 1978-graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, IN. Granted an academic-based scholarship from the United States Navy, Dr. Boitet commissioned into the military as a naval dentist stationed in Jacksonville upon graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honors. Dr. Boitet completed his undergraduate education, i.e., his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, at Indiana University Bloomington in 1974. A member of the International Academy of Sleep, he has also achieved the status of Diplomat of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. Hand-selected and trained by dental implant inventor, Dr. P.I. Branemark, Dr. Boitet has restored over 7,500 implants throughout his career. Moreover, he was honored to be the first general dentist internationally to be elected President of the Academy of Osseointegration. An inductee of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Dr. Boitet is past president of the Clay County Dental Society, the Osseointegration Foundation, and the Titanium Society. Outside his work as a dentist and his active community involvement, Dr. Boitet dedicates his spare time to his wife, four children, his grandchildren, as well as his friends.
